NEW HOURS AS OF NOVEMBER 6, 2019: 5:30 TO 10:00PM DAILY:
CLOSED MONDAY AND TUESDAY
Throughout the week, we travel hours into the interior of the Yucatan to markets and farms where we collect ingredients that allow us to offer our customer a new and exciting taste of a community that has existed for centuries. All of these aspects come together each day and allow for a humble way of cooking within an environment that we are truly grateful to be a part of.
RESERVATION POLICY
Dinner only, Wednesday to Sunday. Walk-ins are encouraged at any time. We seat only completed parties on a first come, first served basis. We accept reservations one month in advance (e.g. Reservations for January will be taken during December) For reservations please email reservations (at) hartwoodtulum.com
HARTWOOD IS OFF-GRID.
By necessity, we consider sustainability first and foremost in all our work and in every decision at the restaurant. Solar panels, power our lights and music and every other little thing that keeps the restaurant running. We break down our waste with zero carbon footprint, creating 100 percent organic compost that is used in regenerating the mangrove environment and interior farming.
All cooking is done by open fire within our hand made wood burning oven and grill. Every single ingredient that we touch is deeply rooted within Mundo Maya. We use only sustainable fishing methods to ensure a thriving and healthy aquatic life.
